Lancashire Online Parish Clerk Project

Below is a list of parishes in the county of Lancashire at or around the end of the 19th century. It is not a complete list of townships or chapelries. Parishes without a link or other mark indicate that the parish does not currently have information or registers online. Where a small Rose symbol

is seen alongside the name of a parish, a web page is available for that parish. Where there are two Rose symbols,

this indicates that some records for that parish are also available online.

A link to a parish opens the page for that parish in a new browser window. If you have a popup stopper installed, this may prevent the new window from opening. If a new window does not open, hold down the CTRL key while clicking the link. Return to the home window to visit a different parish. this will then reuse the same parish window. If you wish to have more than one parish window open simultaneously, right click the link and use the open in new window function.

Links to outside sites also open a new window. If you needed to use the CTRL key to open a parish page, you will also need the CTRL key to open an external link.
