Entries in the burial records which either appeared to contradict the monumental inscription or could clarify worn areas on the headstone are listed below as they appeared in the parish records.

There were a number of names mentioned on the inscriptions for which no entry could be found in the parish register and it is accepted that some of the discrepancies above may well be due to the correct entry not being found and another entry which was similar being linked. It is also accepted that some of the females listed with conflicting surnames may well be due to the remarrying and the inscription refers to their previous husband.
As I have said above there are inscriptions for which I could not find a burial record, there are also two separate inscriptions for the same person. Alice Lomax died 30 December 1924 aged 58 years is mentioned on both headstones 3-H-11 and 4-J-11.
