The Methodist Church lies on Two Trees Lane which was a quiet country road in the early 19th century. Subsequently it became a tram, then trolleybus route, and now carries buses and much heavy traffic. |
The chapel is a classic square preaching house with central pulpit, gallery on all four sides and pipe organ behind the pulpit. The provision for Holy Communion is limited (small Communion table and short Communion rail). |
As well as the chapel with its burial ground, there is a Victorian church hall on the opposite side of the road. The old chapel building is now closed, and services are held at the former church hall. |
