|
Haverthwaite St Anne was built in 1824-5 and enlarged shortly afterwards. It was further extended in 1838 and 1884 when its eastern end renewed. It became a separate parish from Colton in 1866.
The vicarage was demolished in the 1970s to make way for the new route of the A590 and bypass the village of Backbarrow.
