A Abode. Used in the Description of Qualifying Property column. It is the same address as in the Abode column.

J Joint
S Successive. As in DS and HS, which indicates that the elector had occupied, during the 12 months qualifying period, more than one property, each of which was of a rateable value to qualify its occupier to vote.
To help family historians, the electors within each qualification category are listed alphabetically by surname, rather than by street number as in the Electoral Register.
